After 16th May 2012 we will be closed.
Soon we like to welcome you in the new Philips Museum in Eindhoven.

    Experience the evolution of technology
Developments in science and technology have given rise to many thousands of Philips products. The exhibition of Philips Historical Products has succeeded in illustrating the development of the product categories with a unique selection of appliances, many of which are still in working order. They give visitors a good impression of Philips's historical heritage from its beginnings in 1891.

The reconstruction of the Philips Museum has started
In December 2007 Philips Management presented their plans for the Philips Museum in Eindhoven. The Museum will be in the building where Gerard Philips started making light bulbs in 1891 i.e. the small factory on the Emmasingel in Eindhoven. This will be adapted to house a modern exhibition. The original building, which is listed, will stay the same but will get the addition of a glass gallery and a new entrance. This reconstruction began in April 2011 and the 'topping out' ceremony was held on 30th August 2011.
It is expected that this new Philips Museum will open in August 2012.
